Preparatory meeting for the Upcoming Egypt–Malawi Business Forum

As part of its efforts to enhance economic cooperation with African countries, EBA has held a preparatory meeting for the Upcoming Egypt–Malawi Business Forum which will be held in September 2026, with the Embassy of Egypt in Malawi and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Malawi (MCCCI), in the presence of H.E. Amb. Rasha Hamdy, Ambassador of Egypt to Malawi, and Ms. Daisy Kampalami, Executive Director of MCCCI. The meeting witnessed fruitful discussions on the preparation of the forum, mechanisms to enhance cooperation between the private sector in the two countries, trade and investment facilitation, in addition to discussing banking and financial solutions that support the movement of trade exchange, and reviewing promising investment opportunities in Malawi, especially in the sectors of manufacturing, agricultural and food industries, energy, pharmaceutical industries, mining, and tourism
